Modern warfare 2 fov

It's the magnification affect of having what appears to be a smaller FOV even though both are the same cm/360. Maybe it's just placebo, but my sens in COD feels much faster which leads me to believe the FOV is less than 80. These variables can be changed with binds (bind KEY 'cgfov XX') in the single player mode but in co-op. This field of view changer allows you to change the game variables cgfov (0-360) and cgfovScale (1.0 - 2.0) easily. SCZ stands for: S ingleplayer + C O-OP + Z ombies. I was using cm/360 to convert for the longest time, but then I came across an article stating that you should only use cm/360 if both games have a similar or the same FOV. A non-multiplayer field of view changer for various Call of Duty games. Is this proof that console runs at 80 FOV? Would running the same test on PC at 100 FOV give you 50° of change to the right or left? I would end up at either 340° or 260° every time. I would get the compass to be at 300° on the point, and measuring the travel distance to either edge, left or right, would end up giving me 40° of change.

I would pick a point to look centered at and find another point at the furthest edge of my screen.

90 horizontal FoV is equal to 74 vertical FoV with a 4:3 aspect ratio and to 59 with a 16:9 one. 80 horizontal FoV is equal to 65 vertical FoV with a 4:3 aspect ratio and to 51 with a 16:9 one. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I started up a custom match and paid close attention to the 3D compass on the HUD to try and measure my FOV. In specific, Call of Duty Modern Warfare and Warzone use a horizontal field of view based on the 16:9 aspect ratio.
